कुछ लोग है जो सोचते है कि उनको परमेश्वर का आशीष इसलिए मिल रहा है क्योंकि वे “खराई का जीवन” जी रहे है। आपको खराई का जीवन जीना ही चाहिए मगर परमेश्वर के धार्मिकता के सामथ्र्य के द्वारा। लेकिन यह सोचना की आप एक अच्छे वयक्ति है, इसलिए परमेश्वर को आपके लिए आशीष देनी चाहिए, तो यह अपने हाथों के कामों पर भरोसा रखना है; और बाइबल इसके बारे में बताती है कि, “…यह धर्म के कामों के कारण नहीं, जो हम ने आप किए…”(तीतुस 3ः5)।

सबसे पहले आपको यह समझना पड़ेगा की परमेश्वर ने आपको मसीह होने के नाते सारी सीमाओं से परे आशीष दे दी है; मसीह यीशु में आपको स्वर्गीय स्थानों में हरेक आशीष दे दी है(इफिसियो1:3)।

वह आपको आशीष इसलिए नहीं दे रहा है कि आपने कुछ अच्छा किया है; सच तो यह है कि उसने आपको तब आशीष दे दी जब आप उसे जानते तक न थे। आपके अच्छे काम, उसे आपको और आशीष देने के लिए प्रेरित नही करेगा।

कुछ लोग यह सोचते है कि परमेश्वर को उनकी सुननी चाहिए क्योंकि वे दिन में कई घण्टें प्रार्थना करते है; लेकिन यह ऐसे काम नहीं करता है। प्रार्थना करना बहुत जरूरी है; प्रार्थना और अन्य आत्मिक क्रियाकलाप हरेक मसीह लोगो के लिए जरूरी है मगर इससे आप परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह को नहीं कमाते है। वह आपके विश्वास को देखता है और फल देता है, न की आपके कार्य को।

सच्चाई तो यह है कि इस संसार में ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं है जिसको आपने मसीह यीशु में प्राप्त नहीं किया हो; हरेक चिज जो उसकी है, आपकी भी है। इसलिए आपके विश्वास का लंगर जो मसीह करने आया था, वही होना चाहिए। यही आपके विश्वास का आधार बनना चाहिए। आपके जीवन में चंगाई, सृमद्धि और आलौकिक जीवन का कारण यह है कि उसने आपके लिए यह पहले ही से प्रबंध करा दिया है। उसने जो पहले ही से कर दिया है, आपका ध्यान केवल उस पर होना चाहिए।

जब आप स्वास्थ्य, समृद्धि, जीत और सुसमाचार के सभी आशीषों का अंगीकरण करते है जो मसीह यीशु में आपकी है, तो यह इस चेतना के साथ होनी चाहिए की आप मसीह में कौन है और मसीह में आपके लिए सभी चिजें उपलब्ध हैं।

प्रार्थना और घोषणा

प्यारे पिता, आपने मुझे दैविक आशीषों में स्थापित किया है; मैं ज्योति के राज्य में संतो की महिमित विरासत का एक हिस्सा हूँ। मैं प्रभुत्व, शक्ति और विजय के संुदर जीवन का जश्न मनाता हूँ। मैं अंगीकार करता हूँ कि मेरा जीवन यीशु के नाम में परमेश्वर की महिमा, उत्कृष्टता और धार्मिकता की प्रकटीकरण है।

There’re those who think they ought to be enjoying God’s blessings because they’re “living right.” Yes, by virtue of our righteousness, we’re required to live right, but to think that God ought to do certain things for you because of your good works means you’re trusting in your works; and the Bible says, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done…” (Titus 3:5).

First, you must understand that as a Christian, God has already blessed you beyond measure; you’re blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). He didn’t bless you because of what you did; as a matter of fact, He blessed you ever before you knew Him. Your “good works,” as it were, won’t make Him bless you any more than He’s already done.

There’re some who think God will, or should hear them, because they prayed for several hours; but that’s not how it works. It’s vital to pray; prayer and other spiritual activities are highly commendable and recommended for every Christian, but don’t try to get God’s approval by doing them. What He watches out for and rewards is your faith, not works.

There’s really nothing you could ever want that isn’t already yours in Christ; everything He owns belongs to you. Thus, the anchor for your faith should be what Christ came to do. That’s what should form the basis for your believing and confession, and your trust in Him. The reason for your divine health, divine prosperity, and life of superabundance is that Christ already made them yours. Your focus should be on what He’s already done

When you confess health, prosperity, victory, and all the blessings of the Gospel that are yours in Christ, it ought to be with this consciousness; the consciousness of who you are and all that’s been made available to you in Christ.

Righteous Father, you’ve established me in the path of divine blessings; I’m a partaker of the glorious heritage of the saints in the Kingdom of light. I celebrate the beautiful life of dominion, power, and victory that I have in Christ. I affirm that my life is the manifestation of your glory, excellence, and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
